for everyone

If you're already familiar with Project Playlist and its player, please pardon a brief review of the basics. However, if you want to know how to reclaim some usable real estate on your Multiply "Welcome" module, then this tutorial is for you!

Your player can be placed in it's logical module: Music. Check it out...

Select the code for MySpace.

Select the code for MySpace

Next,  choose which playlist you want to feature on your player. [multiple lists sample]

Choose playlist.

Then, select your player's options. The sample player on this group's main page was configured with the basic black skin, a set song order (vs. random shuffle), and manual start (vs. auto play).

Select player options.

Now it's time to copy the code...

Copy player code.

Ready for the magic?

On your Multiply main page, access the "Customize" function. Next, click "Edit" on the Music module. Paste your player code in the title box. Finally, hit "Done" at the top of your page. Voila!

Paste player code in the TITLE box.

Thank you. I'm sick of iMeem's not actually playing through the list and requiring me to re-open the window to advance the playlist.
Radine!

Project Playlist access from your Multiply main page is governed by your chosen Multiply access settings. Check your Multiply account settings here.

To see if the changes have been made according to your needs, click the My Site tab at the top of your page. Next, scroll to the very bottom of the page and hit "View This Page as Another User." This feature opens your page in a new browser window and allows you to see it the same way a non-Multiply member does.

My pleasure, folks. Now if only Multiply would unhide our music modules so that non-Multiply members could also enjoy our spiffy PP players! ;oD
