What can I say? I was bored.

Interesting overall concept. Could be useful for realistic assessment of prioritizing goals, amongst other things. This post will likely be edited as I delve further into the interconnected 43 networks: People, Places, Things.

Everyone needs someone to talk with at least once in a while, even if it's just casual conversation. For years I've been fascinated with, and occasionally amused by, various chat bots. Of course, the more time and attention one puts into details and content, the better the end result.

I've been bitten by the bot bug again. Sometimes it's more fun to first simply play with an item as its creator intended than to immediately dig headlong into the code. It had been a while, so I played with this basic Eliza bot. Here's how it went:

Me: Good morning, Eliza. What can you tell me about PERL based chat bots?
Eliza: Does that question interest you?

Me: Yes, this question interests me because I haven't found a decent tweak of this script's keywords and their generated responses since the old Cyberarmy quest.
Eliza: You are sure?

Me: Yes, I am quite sure.
Eliza: You are sure?

Me: Again, yes. I see I've triggered a loop. Moving right along...
Eliza:  You are sure?

Me: Is it true that your character is themed in the manner of a Rogerian psychologist?
Eliza: What about your own character is themed in the manner of a rogerian psychologist?

Me: Could one conceivably program a chat bot to adequately represent their own personality?
Eliza: Please go on.

Me: I could, but I won't. I already know the answer to the previous question.
Eliza: Can you elaborate on that?

Me: Oh, joy! A potential loop. Time to change the subject.
Eliza: Please go on.

Me: Rogerian psychology is effective only for those who don't know any better.
Eliza: Please go on.

Me: Have you seen any good movies lately?
Eliza: Oh, i seen any good movies lately.

84. What are you excited for? A few hours of "me" time between when my kids leave for school and when my sweetie wakes up.

88. Have you ever been in the newspaper? I don't know about print media, but I have been on stage, television and radio.

90. What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? It depends upon who else is around. If the kids are home, anything that keeps the zoo at a dull roar is fair game.

Multiply is proving to be pretty interesting. As some of my friends know, I've got some pretty eclectic interests and hobbies, both online and in the Big Room. And I've got anything but a pedestrian background. I don't mention these to inflate my weird little ego. It's just part of the whole Gestalt gig that's me, be it good, bad, or indifferent at any space in this timeline.

Anyway, I did mention those factoids as a lead-in to... I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine. ;oD But winter is fast approaching the Ozarks and this chick is already getting a little stir-crazy. For example... Last night was a minor blip. I *do* manage to stay out of trouble when I have more altruistic pursuits, really. Why are you looking at me like that?!? **LMAO**
