Yahell 360 WORST BLOG EVER

Multiply.com BEST BLOG HOST

My site host has been down since January 28th, ergo I cannot resume posting to my personal blog, Dopeless Enigmaniac. Still, my petty annoyances don't stack up to much given the events of late. A quick heads up while I'm at it- Anyone who wants to know whether or not the dot com is live need only check for this image on my Multiply front page. It is normally located in the Video title bar and on each video related page/description. There is a method to my madness. Always. ;oD
Back to "rebounding"... Over the past few days there has understandably been much discussion in this region of Tuesday's tornado hell. Two firsthand aftermath reports were particularly astounding, but from entirely different perspectives. One Fulton County, Arkansas DHS employee who had to travel out to Highland on Wednesday reported that the wild weather had practically plastered dozens of cows upright against fencelines, giving the eerie but mistaken impression of having survived this ordeal. Amongst other disturbing notables, an entire strip of businesses along 62/412 had been completely leveled. Sadly, this surely includes what was the BEST Asian cuisine in the Ozarks. It is with great sorrow which I accept the unconfirmed probability that last Friday night's meal at China House was my family's final one to be enjoyed at that establishment. (Note to ArBear: Please stick to what you know and quit personifying the stereotype of an ignorant American.) 他的區域中國餐館的研究是不值得的考慮 Anyway... The second tornado aftermath report comes courtesy of fellow Arkansas Freecycle group moderator, Margaret, who had been assisting through the Red Cross with response efforts in Atkins. "Now for the good part - the community support is outstanding! ! We have had 3 cook trailors from 3 different Tyson plants come with chicken to cook, Pallets (not just cases) of Water has been donated. Olive Garden from Little Rock brought food to feed 100 people. They also brought 12 servers that stayed and served food for supper. Community members are out helping others to salvage what they can, cut trees, etc. People are donating clothes, bedding etc." Donation requests are now filtering into the Freecycle of Fulton County group for nearby areas. FYI, that group is one of the Yahell betas, in case anyone's curious. ;oD Well... My little guys are raring to go. Back to active Mommy duty. {{{hugs}}} to those who want/need 'em. ♥

Dang- Discussion sure has been lively over at Yahoo 360 Refugees. It seems that someone (who will remain nameless) posted an unverified statement that Yahell is not going to execute its financial flop, 360º. I'll beat this dead horse one last time to put forth the following: Verify your source. Rumors, disinformation, and idle speculations are simply those and nothing more. Wait- They are something more. These types of postings are overabundant. While it's impossible to exterminate such behaviors which breed with parasitic zeal, it is quite simple (and greatly appreciated) to include at least one reference/link to a credible source. Do this consistently and you'll save yourself from becoming just more spamtastic internet flamebait, honest! And if a verified source isn't readily available, please learn to use post tags accordingly. Some good tag examples for unverified information are "rumors", "rumor mill", "gossip", "scuttlebutt", "murmurings", "chatter" and "buzz". Of course, tags can be suited to an individual's liking. Have fun. Play. Explore. Learn. Thanks to vivalabama for saving me the trouble of hunting for that Y! 360º blog entry.
... whether or not I should just start archiving nearly three years worth of assorted blogs on my forum? A few years ago Spymac screwed over what was once a thriving blogging and forums community. And conventional blogging communities, like Live Journal, continue to be under siege, content-wise, from both within and without. No thank you. Then there are a few "blurb-o-blogs" scattered at places like MySpace, Tribe.net and Y! 360. Many Y! 360 refugees have opted to transfer their entire 360 blogs here to Multiply. Kudos, to our wonderful new hosts here at Multiply for graciously making this feature available. But when assaulted with daily parades of everyone's old entries, in my mind it begs the question: Is completely transferring anyone's entire blog really worth it? Only two 360 blogs immediately come to my mind. Forgive me if I seem cold and callous. Personally, I never took Y! 360 very seriously as a blogging service. And honestly, I *know* that many of my entries there were abject crap. Hey- at least I've got the cojones to admit it. Could you be that objective in regards to your own entries? Thanks for hearing me out. During the time (and household interruptions) it's taken to compose this entry I've made a decision. I'm not transferring my 360 blatherings here to Multiply. I don't want to become yet another re-hash of what belongs in the past. To me, it's like leaving last night's dirty dinner dishes on the same table where a magnificent feast is about to be enjoyed. Now, who in the hell would want to subject themselves or their friends to that?!? ;oD ♥ Love youze guys. ♥ Ciao for now.
... the madder I get. This whole Yahell mess has really pissed me off. Screw it. Stick a fork in me. I'm done. Not quite sure how "done" yet, but I've had enough of all the 360 bullshit. And I ditched a couple of Y!A accounts a few months ago. I just unsubbed from several groups, too. All but one of the groups I own can be transferred here to Multiply. Verbatim 360 blog reply to one very dear Dragon: Sweetie, most of us have migrated over to Multiply. We're carving out a new niche. Pardon me, but personally I'm at the absolute point where Yahell can go f*ck ITSELF and leave the money on MY dresser. ;oD If there is any mercy in the cosmos, hopefully he'll be joining us here soon. Cross your fingers... toes... eyes... ;oD
Welcome to my special brand of snarkiness, dear Multipliers. I hope that's an acceptable mode of membership reference. StumbleUpon has Stumblers. I suppose that 3,346 days (to date) of having been registered with the rapidly declining portal I call "Yahell" make me a bona fide Yahellion. Damn. This "fugitive from hell" finds herself on more sinking ships than most pirates have teeth. "Women and children first," my hindquarters. I didn't become a Captain by jumping into the first available lifeboat. As always, I'll go down with the ship. Ne'er shall be the day when this salty wench eschews battling bilge rats for safe passage upon a broken deck plank. Better that than to find me bunk in Davy Jones' Locker, no? So, this is it, huh? Multiply. Multiplication. Multiples. As long as it becomes not yet another bucket o' chum... At this rate I favor multiplicity over duplicity. Aye, thar she indeed blows. ;oD
